On Thursday, September 24, Hestóvin Stables Therapeutic Riding Center will host its Third Annual Live & Silent Auction, our signature fundraising event of the year.
Whether you’ve supported Hestóvin Stables since opening in October 2022 or are discovering us for the first time, this evening is an opportunity to gather with the community for fun, inspiration, and a meaningful cause.
As guests arrive, they’ll be welcomed onto our peaceful Icelandic horse farm, where beautifully decorated tables, twinkling lights, and the gentle presence of our horses create an atmosphere unlike any traditional venue. It’s a place where people naturally slow down, reconnect with friends, and experience the calm that has become the heart of Hestóvin Stables.
The evening begins with a silent auction featuring an exciting collection of carefully selected items, unique experiences, and one-of-a-kind packages. While browsing, guests can enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres, refreshments, and conversation with fellow supporters who share a passion for helping children and adults thrive.
As the evening unfolds, anticipation builds for the live auction. Friendly bidding, plenty of laughter, and a few surprises make this portion of the evening both entertaining and meaningful. Every winning bid represents more than taking home something special. It helps provide hope, opportunity, and healing for someone who will walk through our barn doors.
At Hestóvin Stables, horses do far more than carry riders. They build confidence in children facing anxiety. They help individuals with disabilities gain strength and independence. They offer comfort to those navigating grief, trauma, or life’s difficult seasons. Because Hestóvin Stables is intentionally a boutique therapeutic riding center, every participant receives individualized attention tailored to their unique goals. Our highly trained staff and dedicated volunteers work together to create an environment where every person feels seen, encouraged, and celebrated.
Funds raised through our auction make these experiences possible. Your generosity provides scholarships for families who otherwise could not afford services, helps provide exceptional care for our horses, maintains our beautiful facility, and allows us to continue developing innovative programs that serve our community.

Since opening our doors in 2022, Hestóvin Stables has grown from a dream into a thriving therapeutic riding center serving children and adults throughout West Michigan. What began as a vision has become a place where confidence is built, challenges are overcome, friendships are formed, and hope quietly takes root.
None of this would be possible without the generosity of our supporters. Every volunteer, donor, sponsor, and auction guest has helped write the Hestóvin Stables story. Together, we are creating opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to experience the emotional, cognitive, physical, and social benefits of therapeutic horsemanship.
