One of the greatest joys I have as a pastor is seeing what God does in people’s lives on Sunday mornings. There is something special about gathering in worship, opening God’s Word, and experiencing His presence together.
But I’ve learned something through the years: the greatest transformation rarely happens in a single service. More often, it happens in the conversations afterward. It happens around dinner tables, in living rooms, over coffee, in prayer circles, and while serving shoulder to shoulder with other believers. That’s where faith becomes personal, burdens are shared, and lasting friendships are formed.
That’s the heartbeat behind our current series, Beyond Sunday.
Our desire is to remind every person that God never intended church to be something we attend for an hour each week. He designed His Church to be a family—a place where people know us, encourage us, challenge us, and walk with us through every season of life.
The early church devoted themselves not only to the apostles’ teaching but also to fellowship. Their faith wasn’t confined to a weekly gathering; it overflowed into everyday life. I believe that’s still God’s desire for His Church today.
Maybe you’ve attended church for years but still feel like you’re standing on the outside looking in. Or perhaps you’re new and wondering where you fit. The next step may not be hearing another sermon—it may be finding your people.
When you find your circle, you discover more than friendships. You find people who celebrate your victories, pray through your struggles, remind you of God’s promises, and help you keep moving forward when life gets difficult.
So here’s my encouragement: don’t let your faith stop at Sunday. Take the next step. Join a group. Introduce yourself to someone new. I believe some of God’s greatest work in your life won’t happen while you’re sitting in a service—it will happen while you’re walking alongside others each and every day.
