We understand that new parents appreciate support that is close by and easy to access — with an added bonus if you can walk with your little one to get there! Well, there is a warm and welcoming community ready to guide you and your child right in your neighbourhood! At Montessori Academy of London, we are excited to kick off our second year offering Parent & Child classes for children aged 2 to 24 months — and we would love to have you join us.
Creating opportunities for parents to feel connected from the very beginning benefits everyone. These early connections help build a strong, collaborative partnership centred on your child’s development and well-being.
Our Parent & Child program has grown in the past year and now includes three thoughtfully designed sessions tailored to meet the unique needs of both parents and children at different stages of early development:
- Infants – 2-8 months old
- Movers – 8-16 months old
- Movers 2 – 16-24 months old
Each session runs for 8 weeks, with classes offered on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, three times throughout the year—giving you flexibility to join when it best suits your schedule.
Joining our community is truly the beginning of a partnership. You know your child best and our role is to listen, to understand, and to share our experience as we walk alongside you during this important time.
We see this important relationship like a mobile, with the child, the parents, the educator and the environment, all being hanging pendants. When one piece shifts, it influences the whole. Our goal is to work with parents in collaboration to move through these changes to reach and maintain that balanced state again. This work is grounded in our school’s values of respect, curiosity, Montessori and community.
