For 40 years, Tumble-Bee has had the incredible honor of being a part of the Rockland County community. As we celebrate our 40th birthday, we are filled with gratitude for the countless children and families who have walked through our doors, trusted us with their children, and allowed us to become a small part of their lives.
Over the past four decades, Tumble-Bee has been fortunate to witness generations of children grow, learn, gain confidence, make friends, and discover the joy of movement. We have celebrated birthdays, milestones, accomplishments, and countless special moments with the families we serve. Along the way, we have built relationships that have lasted far beyond a child’s time in a gymnastics class.

For Marie, Tumble-Bee’s current owner, those connections are everywhere. She can hardly go anywhere without running into someone who has a Tumble-Bee memory to share. Whether it is right here in Rockland County—or even as far away as Hershey Park or Sesame Place—someone will recognize her and say, “I went to Tumble-Bee!” or “My child had a birthday party there!” Often, people share a favorite memory from their time at Tumble-Bee, and these unexpected encounters are some of the most meaningful reminders of the impact the business has had on the community. Marie knows firsthand the impact it can have, as she was one of the first students when the doors opened 40 years ago. That is something that makes these encounters even more meaningful.
Over the years, Tumble-Bee has changed and grown. Programs have evolved, improvements have been made, and the needs of children and families have shifted. But through all of those changes, one thing has remained constant: our goal.

Tumble-Bee has always aimed—and will always aim—to have every child walk out the door feeling better than when he or she walked in.
Sometimes that means learning a new skill or reaching a long-awaited goal. Sometimes it means building confidence, making a friend, getting some exercise, or simply having fun. And sometimes, it may mean having a place where a child can feel successful, supported, and happy!
That simple goal has guided Tumble-Bee for 40 years, and it continues to guide us today.

We are incredibly honored and appreciative to have been a part of so many families’ lives for four decades. To the children who have taken classes, attended camps, celebrated birthdays, participated in events, and created memories with us—and to the parents, grandparents, and families who have supported Tumble-Bee along the way—thank you.
Thank you for allowing us to be part of your stories. Thank you for sharing your children with us. Thank you for the memories, the friendships, the laughter, and the trust.
As we celebrate 40 years, we look back with tremendous pride and gratitude—but we also look forward with excitement. We are grateful for the past, thankful for the present, and eager to continue serving the community for many years to come.
For 40 years, Tumble-Bee has been more than a gymnastics facility. It has been a place where children have grown, families have connected, and memories have been made.
And after 40 years, our goal remains exactly the same: to help every child leave Tumble-Bee feeling just a little bit better than when they walked in.
