On October 24 raise a Glass to Harvest Season at the Tehachapi Winery Fall Fest
There is something special about a mountain vineyard in October: the light turns gold, the air carries a chill, and the vines seem to exhale after another long growing season. That is the backdrop for Tehachapi Winery Fall Fest, coming Saturday, October 24, from 1 to 8 p.m., and it is shaping up to become a new favorite on Tehachapi’s fall calendar.
The lineup speaks for itself: three live bands, Tulare Dust Band, The Scrub Jays, and The Bear Mountain Boys, will keep the music going throughout the afternoon and into the evening. Browse the Fall-Themed Makers Market for seasonal finds, hop aboard a free hay ride through the vineyard, or kick off your boots for barefoot grape stomping (and a genuinely fun photo opportunity). Food trucks and the winery’s full wine and bar menu, including seasonal fall cocktails, will round out the day.
Dress the part: boots, vintage pearl snap shirts, denim, cowboy hats, square dancing skirts and cozy sweaters are encouraged. Bring a lawn chair or blanket, find your favorite spot in the vineyard, and settle in.
Tickets are on sale now for $20 per person, with kids 12 and under admitted free. The affordable pricing is an intentional choice by the winery to keep the celebration accessible to the whole community.
Fall Fest also offers a standout opportunity for local businesses looking to connect with the community. With hundreds of guests expected throughout the day, sponsorship provides a relaxed, high-visibility way to put your name in front of neighbors and visitors alike, while helping support this new addition to Tehachapi’s growing fall traditions.
Mark your calendar. Fall in the vineyard doesn’t get much better than this.
