Spectra Wellness is entering a new chapter in South Tampa with the expansion of its 8,000-square-foot facility, bringing its approach to functional medicine together with a growing collection of regenerative, performance, and longevity-focused therapies. Led by triple board-certified physician Dr. Lisa Koche, Spectra has spent years looking beyond conventional symptom management to understand the interconnected factors influencing how a person feels and functions. The expanded space builds that foundation while giving patients access to new technologies and therapies designed to complement a more individualized approach to health.
Functional medicine remains at the center of the Spectra model, with advanced biomarker testing, comprehensive patient histories, and a systems-based approach used to better understand areas such as hormonal health, metabolic function, immune health, energy, recovery, and overall well-being. What is new is the breadth of services that can now surround that clinical foundation. Spectra’s Performance and Longevity Center includes Pulse PEMF, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, red light therapy, IV therapy, and ozone therapy, giving patients a range of options that can be incorporated into a physician-guided plan or experienced individually depending on their goals.
The expansion also brings greater emphasis to regenerative medicine, including peptides, exosomes, and VSELs, or Very Small Embryonic-Like Stem Cells. These emerging areas of regenerative medicine are being explored for their potential roles in cellular signaling and regenerative processes, and at Spectra, their use is approached individually and under physician guidance. The HOCATT Ozone Sauna adds another dimension to the wellness experience by combining technologies such as ozone, infrared heat, and steam, while therapeutic plasma exchange expands the range of advanced procedures available within the practice. Together, these offerings reflect where Spectra is headed: toward a model in which diagnostics, functional medicine, regenerative approaches, recovery technologies, and performance optimization can exist within the same coordinated environment.
For Dr. Koche, however, the expansion has never been only about bringing more technology into the building. Community has always been an important part of Spectra, and the new space creates more opportunity for people to learn, connect, ask questions, and be surrounded by others who are equally interested in taking a more active role in their health. That sense of connection will be at the center of Spectra’s Open House on October 16, when the practice will welcome both longtime members of the Spectra community and those experiencing it for the first time.
As Tampa continues to evolve, so does Spectra Wellness. The new facility represents the next expression of Dr. Koche’s vision: a place where advanced medicine and emerging wellness technologies meet individualized care, curiosity, education, and human connection.
All readers are invited to join Spectra Wellness and meet Dr. Koche and the entire Team at their GRAND OPENING on October 16th from 4-7pm at 504 North Reo Street. Experience the new space, discover what’s possible, and celebrate the next chapter with the Spectra community.
