In this part of the world, tires are not simply another vehicle expense. They’re one of the most important investments you can make in safety, control and confidence. At Windermere Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, we combine competitive pricing, an extensive selection and convenient on-site storage to make that investment easier.
You can visit us at the dealership or call 825-402-4099 to discuss your needs and receive a tire quote directly from our team. For added convenience, we also offer TiresSale.ca, our dedicated online quoting and shopping tool. The site allows you to search by vehicle or tire size, compare available options and even prepay online. And we supply tires for virtually any make or model, including luxury and heavy-duty.
Our pricing advantage comes from volume. Between our new- and used-vehicle departments and busy service centre, we sell hundreds of tires each month, with demand increasing dramatically during the fall changeover season. Our relationships with Stellantis, numerous tire distributors and other dealerships within our automotive group give us access to an enormous range of products and highly competitive purchasing programs.
We pass that buying power along to our customers. We’re committed to offering the best price and will match a legitimate advertised price, although you’ll often find that our initial quote is already lower.
We also offer something many tire retailers cannot: secure, heated, climate-controlled storage located right here at the dealership. Instead of sending your tires to an off-site warehouse or storing them in an outdoor shipping container, we keep them indoors, protected from the elements and readily accessible. When the forecast suddenly changes, our service team can retrieve them immediately, helping you avoid the delays that often accompany outsourced storage.
For maximum convenience, we recommend mounting winter tires on a dedicated set of winter wheels. A complete wheel swap is faster and less expensive than removing and remounting tires twice each year. It also reduces repeated stress on the tire beads and protects your more expensive factory wheels from road salt, hidden curbs and other winter damage. Compatible winter wheel packages may even be transferred to your next vehicle or sold separately.
Although purchasing two sets may initially sound more expensive, the long-term calculation tells a different story. Many tires are designed to provide approximately 60,000 to 80,000 kilometres of use, depending on the tire, maintenance and driving conditions. When winter and all-season tires share your driving, each set accumulates kilometres for only part of the year.
Instead of replacing worn all-seasons at 80,000 kilometres, you may reach roughly 160,000 kilometres before both seasonal sets have travelled the same combined distance. Most long-term drivers will purchase two sets of tires over that period anyway. By making one of them a dedicated winter set, you gain better cold-weather traction, protect your factory wheels and enjoy considerably more confidence when conditions deteriorate.
Visit us at Windermere CDJR, call 825-402-4099 or use TiresSale.ca for a personal tire recommendation and quote. Edmonton winters may be unpredictable; getting ready for them doesn’t have to be.
