To some degree, we have been bombarded by the development and implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
We read of those who do not want data centers to be built, and we read of the concerns associated with the data centers. We are also being approached online by Microsoft, Google, ChatGPT, Claude, and more, to change the way we do most anything. It can be so confusing. What do we do?
In the same way, I have been bombarded with implementing AI within my dental practice. Many times weekly, I receive email messages from those who want to have AI take over answering my telephone, to replace a team member, and to change my dental practice to make more money. All these messages are not at all requested; I block them within my email service, yet I continue to get more of these emails.
Further, my dental practice management software incorporated AI to read my X-ray images without my permission. I found that different computers offered different interpretations of the radiographs. Within one day, we called our software company and deleted that add-on feature.
In addition, there are companies that want to take over our social media messaging with AI and want to use AI to answer our online Google reviews. We have refused that as well.
Yes, I know there are benefits to AI. I know there are times when it can be so helpful and save a lot of time.
However, I have worked for years to have a very personal, caring, honest, conservative, patient-centered, value-conscious and quality-oriented dental practice. I am the only general dentist within my family-owned dental practice. I know how this benefits patients, and I know how fulfilled I feel every day providing the brand of care that we deliver. I do not want that to change.
As a result, I am very restricting of technology’s de-personalizing and cookie-cutting effects on my dental practice.
I continue to be laser-focused on providing the best that dentistry can deliver for our valued patients. As a team, we are committed to providing pleasurable, personal, sympathetic, empathetic, and unique experiences for each and every patient.
It is for these reasons why, humbly, we are rated so highly with Google reviews, and why we are Facebook’s Most Liked general dentistry practice of its kind in the greater Dallas area.
We invite you to experience our brand of dental care. We are unique, memorable, and dedicated to providing the best personal and dental care.
We do have the best dental patients in the world. We know, because we know them. Shouldn’t you be one of them? We are located across Preston Road from the Shelton School and football field. We invite you to contact us at (972) 250-2580.
