Our hearts are incredibly full as we look back on this past year. We want to extend our deepest gratitude to every single one of you who supported us during our time at Hind’s and who have continued to lift us up and help us grow. As a small business, we simply wouldn’t be here without your kindness, your handshakes, and your steady support. You are the heartbeat of Patterson Place.
October was an absolute joy for us, kicking off our Harvest Celebration with the pumpkin drop and spending our Fridays and Saturdays in the Back Shop with homemade baked goods, Halloween crafts, treats, and games. If you weren’t able to make it out, please know you were truly missed!
Because of the wonderful response, we are incredibly blessed to announce that our celebration will keep going through November 21. We want to continue serving you, so our doors will remain open Fridays from 3–8 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
Please stop by just to say, “How are ya!” We would love for you to browse the shop and give us your guidance on what products and items you would like to see in our little Grab & Go. If you ever need something outside of these hours, please never hesitate to text us at 503-267-5160—we are more than happy to open up so you can shop the “Shop” on the go.
You can also order fresh bakery items on our website, pattersons-place.com, and DaLynn will make them fresh for you. Choose from breads, rolls, pies, cookies, brownies, Thanksgiving-themed items, and more.
To celebrate the season, we have prepared a special community event for each Saturday through November 21:
- November 7 | Utah vs. BYU Watch Party: Come cheer on your team with us! Game-day snacks and drinks are available for $10 per person or $40 per family. Alternatively, you are entirely welcome to bring your own snacks and join the party for free. Please remember to bring your own lawn chairs or seating, as we’ll be on a concrete floor! Game scheduling is to be determined by the NCAA.
- November 14 | Turkey Shoot, 10 a.m.: Bring your .22 (no scopes) and ammo for a chance to win your Thanksgiving turkey! We will also host an adults-only handgun shoot. New this year is a rubber band rifle shoot so everyone can participate, even without a gun. Hot breakfast and cocoa will be available to keep everyone warm.
- November 21 | Turkey Bowl & Brunch, 11 a.m.: Join us for a delicious brunch buffet and a friendly game of flag football for $12 per person or $50 per family. We will also have our Frozen Turkey Bowling event—bowl a “turkey” (three strikes in a row) with a frozen turkey to win a real one!
If you have any questions or would like to give us a friendly heads-up that you are coming, please text or call DaLynn at 503-267-5160 with the number of people attending. You can also find more details on our website at pattersons-place.com or by following us on Facebook and Instagram.
We truly hope to see you this November so we can wish you a very happy Thanksgiving in person and look you in the eye to say thank you for supporting our family business. We are so thankful for each of you.
With our warmest regards and deepest appreciation,
Gary & DaLynn Patterson
