Help Make-A-Wish of Eastern North Carolina Grant Wishes This Holiday Season
As we all anticipate the magic, joy and excitement of the Christmas holiday season, we are once again honored to serve as the co-producing sponsor of Thalian Association Community Theatre’s annual Christmas holiday show and musical production, featuring everyone’s favorite holiday classic, “Miracle on 34th Street,” the musical, with book, music and lyrics by Meredith Wilson.
Each year, we are so excited to enjoy the opportunity to bring such incredibly meaningful holiday experiences to thousands who will be attending the performances. With a total of nine shows beginning December 9, we will be welcoming families from across the eastern North Carolina region and beyond, as we experience live theatre at its absolute best.
This year’s production, “Miracle on 34th Street,” is not only one of the most popular and highly anticipated productions, but it is also incredibly meaningful to every age group from the youngest to the oldest.

As CEO of The Community Foundation of NC East for 27 years, it is truly one of the most inspiring and rewarding experiences that I can share, and this year we are proud to be partnering with Make-A- Wish of Eastern North Carolina to bring a miracle to a most deserving child and family by granting a wish just in time for Christmas day.
To know that the generosity of our contributors is helping us make this possible is something we so deeply appreciate, and we look forward to making this special wish come true for a most deserving Make-A-Wish family. For over 40 years, Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina has served all medically eligible children in 49 counties and granted more than 5,000 wishes since its inception in 1986.
Supporting community theatre and working in partnership with Susan Habas and Thalian Association Community Theatre has been a truly rewarding experience. We have been fortunate to enjoy this opportunity for many years. Bringing such extraordinary talent and memorable performances to countless families has been inspiring, and we are so thrilled to know our performances have made lasting impact in the community and region.
We encourage you to contact the Thalian Box Office immediately, as shows are selling out quickly, to purchase your tickets and be one of the fortunate few to see “Miracle on 34th Street” in the beautiful Thalian Hall Center for Performing Arts.
We wish you and your families a safe, happy and meaningful 2026 holiday season, and I look forward to seeing you at Thalian Hall.
Happy holidays and blessings to all.
