The Holiday Season Has Begun, and Before We Know It, January Will Be Here.

There’s living to do: children, grandchildren, shopping, cooking, football, and traditions.

But there’s one person you may forget to put on your holiday list:

You.

How are you going to carry yourself through this season?

Discomfort doesn’t take a holiday, but it can keep you from enjoying yours.

Caring for yourself helps you care for them. Because, let’s face it, without you, life would kind of suck.

What does taking care of you look like?

At 100% Chiropractic Canton, it begins here. Erin, our Chiropractic Assistant and Office Manager, welcomes you, gives you a tour of our beautiful office, completes your posture analysis, takes X-rays, and gathers your health history before introducing you to Dr. Keith Riggi.

After reviewing your X-rays and health history, Dr. Riggi develops a corrective or maintenance plan just for you. He educates you about your spine and findings, including subluxation, a  chiropractic term describing changes in spinal joint alignment or movement. He’ll likely reference the Meric chart, a teaching tool, to illustrate associations between spinal regions and the body.

With adjustments central to your care plan, Dr. Riggi may prescribe spinal decompression, using traction to relieve pressure and encourage fluid movement within the discs, giving them much-needed “juice.”

Dr. Riggi may also prescribe cold-light red laser therapy, known as photobiomodulation (PBM). These wavelengths support cellular recovery and help regulate inflammation for quick recovery.

Because muscles support your spine, Graham, our Licensed Massage Therapist, reviews your X-rays, Dr. Riggi’s findings, and prescribed care plan to provide purposeful massage using soft-tissue and trigger-point techniques that ease tension, improve mobility, and complement your chiropractic care.

Since stress affects more than muscles and joints, we are always addressing circulation and recovery in some way. Your lymphatic system maintains fluid balance, transports immune cells, and clears excess tissue fluid. Without a central pump, it relies on breathing, muscle contractions, and movement to circulate lymph.

Invisa-RED offers an option using red and near-infrared light. Its approach combines photobiomodulation with the goal of lipolysis, the breakdown of fat. The body processes the fat through metabolic pathways, while the liver and kidneys eliminate waste products and toxins. Combine this with hydration and movement, and changes in body circumference and skin appearance may be a welcome bonus.

“We don’t start with, “How can we make you look better?”

“We start with, “How can we help your body function better?”

That’s why the chiropractic’s Three T’s, Thoughts, Traumas, and Toxins, form the foundation of our approach to care.

Your body doesn’t function in separate pieces, and we don’t care for it that way.

Whether you decide to begin corrective care or maintenance, Erin will review your costs, insurance coverage, and financial options.

Remember, January will be here soon. Take care of your body through memories still waiting to happen.

Fill your cup so you have more of yourself to give.

Let our family take care of yours.

Live well. Be present. Live at 100%.
