Reflecting on 2025: Projects We Loved
From custom solutions to unexpected challenges, 2025 kept us busy in the best way. These projects stood out not only for what we built, but for the people we built them for and the reactions that reminded us why we love what we do.
BNA:
There is something especially exciting about working with a new restaurant coming to life. From the early conversations to the final installation, this custom project was the perfect mix of collaboration and creativity. We worked closely with Karlee Sieben and Carolyn Nixon to understand their vision, their space, and how they wanted customers to feel when they walked through the door. Once the big picture was clear, they trusted us to take the lead designing and building a solution that fit their needs. Projects like this are one of our favourites. It is incredibly rewarding to be part of something new and refreshing in our community.
Powered by Espresso:
On repeat, this returning customer has a fleet of colourful concessions that we have provided custom solutions for. This year we enclosed the entire bottom of this chuck wagon and installed a solution to enclose the top for travelling. This customer never fails to unlock our creative side to figure out custom solutions for his fleet, new or existing .This project was everything we enjoy – a hands-on project built on trust.
Tatawaw Kanata Glamping and Wellness:
When Roger Lamoureaux and Brigitte Thom initially came in with a glamping tent that needed replacement, we were happy to take on the project. On the surface, it felt straightforward – this type of work was well within our wheelhouse and something we had done before. What we didn’t realize at the time is how much we would connect with their vision. During our conversations we learned about the thoughtful and intentional plans they had for the site. Their passion for creating a space that promotes relaxation, health and wellness was clear. Roger and Brigitte poured their heart and soul into this dream, and we were proud to be part of it.
A Unique Thank You Gift
This customer wanted to give his friend a unique thank you gift and knew exactly what he wanted and where he could find it. He wanted a custom designed and manufactured e-bike bag for his friend with added details tailored specifically for his friend. After a few back-and-forth conversations to fine tune the design and personalize the extra feature, we got to work. While the finished product may have been small, the impact – and the end customers happiness was anything but.
LAING ROOFING
We value supporting local businesses, and we are always excited by the problem solving that comes with a custom cover. This combination is what we love most about what we do. So, when Laing Roofing called on us to design a custom cover for a piece of machinery we were thrilled. Designed for travel, longevity and functionality we were happy with the results and so were they!
