The National Sports Center – Your Neighborhood Playground

Back to Articles

Happy New Year neighbors! We are excited to join the Blaine Neighbors family. And we are especially excited to tell you about our Introductory Sports Programs.

If you are looking to introduce your child to sports, the National Sports Center offers five sessions of introductory sports offerings throughout the year. These programs are tailored towards young athletes looking to develop fundamental skills in a variety of different sports.  Your child can discover their favorite from the following options: cheerleading, soccer, flag football, baseball, and hockey.  Most of the lessons are designed for youth ages 4-9, but there are also sports available for kids as young as two years old.

Our introductory sports programs are led by our experienced and knowledgeable coaching staff. Coaches are passionate about the sport and make each class fun and engaging for the kids.  We ensure that there is a low participant-to-instructor ratio, so your child will receive the attention they need and deserve. Each session offers eight weeks of instruction, games, and activities.

Sessions run all year round.  Spring, Summer 1, Summer 2, Fall, and Winter. Your classes will be the same day and time each week during your 8-week session.

In addition to learning skills, making friends, and having fun, your child will receive an Intro-to-Sports T-shirt.  Most sports have a tiered level that allows your child to continue to progress and learn new skills.

We invite you to learn more about our programs at our website, nscsports.org, or by calling us at 763-785-5600.

See you at the NSC!
