More people are cooking at home than ever, and for many homeowners, the backyard has become an extension of the kitchen. To understand what separates a good grill from a great one, I sat down with Rowdy Harden, sales expert at Jeff Lynch Appliance and TV Center, to talk about Lynx grills and what truly matters when designing an outdoor cooking space.
“Everybody’s grilled a burger,” Rowdy says. “But once you experience a premium grill, you can never go back. There is nothing better than a Lynx.” Rowdy explains that Lynx offers two distinct product lines: Sedona and Professional. Sedona and Professional. “Sedona is a great entry into luxury grilling, but the Professional line is on another level.”
The difference begins with materials and performance. “The Professional series grills have heavier stainless steel grates, so they hold heat more effectively. They also use ceramic burners, which last forever, burn hotter, and give you a more even temperature across the grill.”That level of precision allows for far more than high heat cooking. “You can cook as low as you want or go extremely hot. You can use infrared, rotisserie, or even add a smoker box that fits right inside the grill.”
Durability is another major selling point for both the Sedona and Professional lines, especially in the Southeast. “Lynx uses marine grade stainless steel. It is thicker, resists corrosion better, and lasts longer outdoors,” Rowdy explains. Even the smallest details are thoughtfully engineered.“The hood assist is huge. Without it, the hood weighs about 40 pounds due to the thickness and quality of the steel. With hood assist, it is extremely easy to open and close.” Cooking after dark is also effortless. “They are lit inside, so you are not guessing at night.”
Lynx grills can be built into a custom outdoor kitchen or used in carts for added flexibility. “If you do not have an outdoor kitchen, carts are a great option and we carry excellent ones. If you are building an outdoor cooking space, we can make it completely turnkey with grills, ventilation, heaters, and installation.”
According to Rowdy, today’s outdoor kitchens often rival indoor kitchens. “We design and sell outdoor kitchens with sinks, ice makers, refrigerators, fridge drawers, kegs, trash cans, griddles, and single or double side burners. We even offer outdoor warming drawers.” To make outdoor spaces usable year-round, Jeff Lynch also installs heating solutions. “We offer infrared electric heaters and outdoor gas heaters, and many come with remote controls.” Safety and smart design are always a priority. “There are two ways to build a grill in: wood framing or masonry. Wood is combustible, so we use insulated jackets around the grill for fire safety. Masonry is not combustible, so it is another option.”
When asked why customers should visit the Jeff Lynch showroom, Rowdy is direct.
“You really need to see this in person and talk to someone who understands how you cook. Our delivery teams work for us, ensuring a smooth process from start to finish. We stand behind our products and help customers build the outdoor kitchen they actually want, not just sell them a grill.”
If you are ready to move beyond burgers and into true outdoor living, the advice is simple. Visit Jeff Lynch, ask for Rowdy or any of their experts, and start designing your dream outdoor kitchen with confidence.
