I am originally from NJ and spent the last 10 years outside Boulder, CO. Being a commercial photographer for over 40 years, I have always strived to bring a different way of seeing images. I like to create dramatic, unusual visual concepts, using classical imaging techniques, modern digital methods, and complimentary lighting. I now find it important to depict enjoyable themes with my photography, to please myself and hopefully others. I am revisiting film photography in 35mm, medium format as well a 4×5.
I enjoy the methodical process of film imaging, a slower and thoughtful process compared to the instant feedback of digital. I also find it rewarding to see images as more tangible, in print. I enjoy passing on tips and tricks for visual solutions based upon the experiences I have encountered along my journey. I have given workshops and presentations to local groups, colleges, and the Center for Photography.
