At The Property Butler, every job is a unique experience, but some of our favorite moments come from the “assistants” we meet on-site, our customers’ pets. Whether it’s a dog greeting us at the door or a cat observing from a window, pets have a way of making our workdays more enjoyable. They bring energy, curiosity, and sometimes a bit of mischief — making every project more memorable. Let’s introduce some of the “Critters on the Clock.”
Bean, the Toilet-Drinking Troublemaker
Bean is a cat who takes his “help” seriously. While we drained an old toilet, he made it his personal mission to lap up all the water before we could even remove it. Once we thought we were in the clear, Bean claimed one of our jackets as his new bed — stretching out comfortably as if he had supervised the whole process. Some cats nap in the sun while Bean prefers home improvement.
Scooby, the Carpenter Mountain Dog
Scooby, a big lovable mountain dog, took his “project manager” role seriously when we helped build shelving in his garage. The goal was to make more room for Scooby and, by the end of the day, not only was the garage organized, but Scooby also claimed his new space — ready for his next nap. He’s now the proud owner of the most organized garage in town.
Remi, the Deck-Removal Expert
While tearing out a small deck, we met Remi, a tiny mouse with a flair for demolition. Remi darted around — inspecting every part of the deck as we worked. He was focused solely on the deck removal and his attention to detail left us impressed, even though he didn’t lift a single board.
Yogi, the Painting and Door-Fixing Furball
Yogi, a friendly lab, made sure our job painting a mudroom and fixing doors was a team effort. From the start, he was right there — tail wagging — offering his “assistance” by nudging the paint rollers with his nose. Though he didn’t help much with the actual work, he kept his presence with the need for belly rubs.
Pongo, The Pawsident of The Property Butler
Meet Pongo, the true “Pawsident” of The Property Butler. As the official manager, he oversees morning truck load-ups. He also performs quality control — inspecting every tool, including the new plunger. Pongo may not sign invoices, but his watchful eyes and daily routines keep everything running smoothly.
