This summer, Hendricks Family Dentistry is proud to celebrate 50 years of serving the Brunswick community — a milestone that represents far more than dentistry alone. It represents generations of families, decades of relationships and a continued commitment to caring for our community like family.
Established in 1975 by Dr. Gary Hendricks, the practice began with a simple mission: provide honest, compassionate dental care in a welcoming environment where patients feel safe, cared for and welcomed. Over the years that vision grew into something truly special. Families who once came in with young children now bring their grandchildren. Patients who started with our office decades ago still greet us by first name when they walk through the door.
In 2004, Dr. Jamison Hendricks purchased the practice from his father, continuing the family tradition and leading the office into a new era of dentistry. The Brunswick Sun Times featured the milestone with the headline “Jamison joins dad in dentistry,” celebrating a special moment for both their family and the community they served for decades. Today, the same values that built the practice 50 years ago — trust, compassion and treating patients like family — remain at the heart of everything we do. While so much has changed in dentistry over the past 50 years, one thing has remained constant: our commitment to patient care. Dentistry today is more advanced, comfortable and efficient than ever before. Traditional impressions have been replaced with digital scanners. Procedures that once required multiple visits can now often be completed in a single appointment with same-day technology. Advances in imaging, restorative dentistry, implants and preventive care allow patients to experience treatment in ways that simply weren’t possible decades ago. Despite all the advancements in technology, the relationships we build with patients continue to matter most.
Our office has always believed dentistry isn’t just teeth — it’s about trust, confidence, comfort and helping people feel nurtured. Whether someone has been visiting us for 30 years or walking through our doors for the very first time, we want every patient to feel welcomed, valued and heard.
As we celebrate this milestone anniversary, we are incredibly grateful for the support of the Brunswick community and the generations of patients who have trusted us with their smiles.
