Dr. Mikayla Kemp was born and raised in Rochester, NY. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Daemen University before completing her Doctor of Optometry at Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL. During her fourth year of optometry school, she remained in the Chicago area, gaining experience at various private practices and rotating through multiple specialties, including ocular disease, geriatrics, cornea/contact lenses and pediatrics, at Illinois Eye Institute. Dr. Kemp is passionate about comprehensive eye care and has a special interest in myopia management. Outside of the office, she enjoys quality time with her fiancé, Jack, and their beloved pug, Penny.
