Affordable Automotive is here to care for your vehicles, either for your family or your business. We take our work very seriously by providing the highest in quality technicians, parts, and service. We pride ourselves in staying current in the latest technology and tools. We maintain all makes, models, tires, brakes, oil change service, check engine light, air condition, heating, suspension, steering, fuel and brake lines, bulbs, wipers, batteries, and we can go on and on.

Chances are that your car is the second largest investment next to your home. Care for it properly and it will deliver the performance, lasting value, and enjoyment you need and expect. A properly maintained car offers the greatest return on investment by performing safely and dependably on you and your family. Proper maintenance also helps you avoid more costly repairs down the road.

Courtesy Check: With every oil change service and anytime the vehicle comes into the shop we will conduct a 40-point inspection of your vehicle. It covers lights, wipers, windshields, battery, filters, belts, hoses, fluids, brake system, suspension, steering, exhaust, and tires. We do this not to sell services and parts, but to be sure the vehicle is SAFE. Many times, a bulb is out, and the customer has no idea. So, imagine the items that go unnoticed unless a trained technician is inspecting your vehicle. At the end of your service that is when Dimitri will go over with you in detail to let you know what the vehicle needs, with pricing and priority of when that service needs to be done. That is when usually a conversation starts. What do we mean? Often the question we get asked is: Is the vehicle worth fixing it? And then we go over the condition of the body, interior, value of the vehicle, compared to the cost of the repairs.

Then comes the discussion of the current vehicle prices along with the cost of financing the vehicle people forget that when you purchase a new or newer vehicle you will most likely have financing along with Maintenance. The maintenance still costs money. So, then most times the customer will take a few days or hours to decide what to do. Then the phone call comes, and they let us know with what service they are going to continue with.

One of the services that is overlooked by many vehicle owners is the automatic and manual transmission fluid service. Transmission services are just as important as oil changes that get performed for the life of the engine. Every vehicle, make and model have a different service interval/schedule assigned by the manufacturer. That will include the mileage interval when the fluid and/or filter get replaced. The manufacturer will also outline what type of fluid is used.  Transmission services will prolong the life of your transmission. Don’t forget this is also needed for manual transmissions, even though we don’t see them as much.

Tires are the thing that is between your car and the road, so I think that’s important.  We have seen some bad tires, and all I can think is that these drivers/vehicles are on the road with us, how dangerous it could be.  Tires, yes, we do tires. It is a service that most of our customers use. We have done our research on the tires that offer the longest mileage and quality at the best price available.  We give our customers choices on the price and brand. They make the appointment or while other work is being done on the vehicle, they will get their tires replaced.

Like we said above, the vehicle is an expensive purchase, and it’s particularly important to maintain it in the best possible way.  If at any point you have questions about how to proceed with the care of your vehicle, please contact us or stop by. We are on Route 7 tucked behind the Executive Center, across from Jersey Mikes and Home Goods. We have been here for over 25 years and enjoying what we do for our fellow community.
