An LSV (Low-Speed Vehicle) can legally travel on public roads like SW Community Blvd, meaning you can run errands outside Riverland, reach local shopping, or drive to a neighbor’s community.
A street-legal LSV comes with more speed and freedom as well as more responsibility. An LSV driven on public roads must be properly equipped, titled, registered, plated, and insured.
But what does that typically cost? First time tag and title fees average around $425, while annual renewal is likely to be around $30. Many buyers find LSV insurance more affordable than they expected. The most recent policies we’ve seen averaged $375 for coverage including liability, property damage, towing, and a few other coverages that make sense to many.
A traditional golf cart is usually simpler from a cost-of-ownership standpoint.
