Mental Health Support Shouldn’t Depend on Your Income

At Mindwise Mental Health Services, we believe that everyone deserves access to mental health support, regardless of their financial situation.

Life doesn’t wait for the “right” time. Stress, anxiety, grief, relationship struggles, parenting challenges, and major life transitions can affect anyone. Yet for many people, the cost of therapy can feel like a barrier to getting the support they need.

That’s why Mindwise offers a Pay-What-You-Can (PWYC) counselling program.

Unlike many reduced-fee programs that limit the number of sessions available, our PWYC program has no set session limit. We recognize that healing and personal growth don’t happen on a timeline. Some people may benefit from a few conversations, while others need ongoing support. Our goal is to make therapy accessible for as long as it is helpful.

The program was created from a simple belief: mental health care should be available to everyone, not just those who can afford standard therapy fees.

Our PWYC program is straightforward. Individuals can connect with one of our therapists and pay an amount that fits their current financial circumstances. There is no requirement to provide financial documentation, and participants are treated with the same respect, care, and professionalism as any other client. The focus is on reducing barriers so that people can access support when they need it most.

At Mindwise, individuals can receive support for a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, grief, relationship challenges, self-esteem, parenting concerns, and life transitions. Therapy provides an opportunity to slow down, gain perspective, develop new coping strategies, and feel supported through difficult experiences.

As a sister business to Bodywise Health & Rehab, we have always valued a whole-person approach to wellness. We know that emotional health is just as important as physical health, and both deserve care and attention.

We are proud that our Pay-What-You-Can program has helped individuals and families in our community access support that may otherwise have been out of reach. Every person deserves the opportunity to improve their well-being, build resilience, and move toward a healthier future.

If you have been considering therapy but have been worried about the cost, we encourage you to reach out.
