How one small-town dream continues to grow while staying true to the values that started it all.
Have you ever noticed that while dad is trying on a new polo, mom is usually the one helping him decide?
She’s picking out colors, giving her opinion, holding clothes for the kids, and making sure everyone else finds what they need.
For years, we’ve watched that happen every single day at Home Bound.
And for just as long, we’ve heard the same question:
“When are you going to have something for us?”
This August, we’re excited to finally answer that question.
But the truth is, this story didn’t start with women’s clothing. It started nearly six years ago with a simple dream to create something bigger than a clothing store.
When Home Bound Apparel first opened its doors in Hiram nearly six years ago, our dream was never simply to sell clothing.
We wanted to build a place where people felt welcome the moment they walked through the door. A place where conversations mattered, where customers became friends, and where shopping felt more like visiting family than running errands.
Two years ago, we were incredibly grateful to bring that same vision to our Cedarcrest location. Since then, we’ve had the privilege of becoming part of another wonderful community, meeting new families, celebrating life’s biggest moments, and watching Home Bound become a place that many people now call their own.
From the very beginning, our mission has been guided by three simple words:
Faith. Family. Hard Work.
Those aren’t just words in our logo—they’re the foundation of every decision we make. They shape the brands we carry, the way we serve our customers, and the kind of atmosphere we hope every person experiences when they walk through our doors.
Because to us, Home Bound has always been about people first.
Over the years, we’ve had the honor of helping customers prepare for some of life’s biggest milestones. We’ve fitted young men for their senior pictures, helped countless wedding parties celebrate one of the most important days of their lives, found the perfect outfit for family photos, and watched little boys who once shopped with their parents grow into young men shopping on their own.
Some of our favorite moments aren’t about clothing at all. They’re the conversations at the checkout counter. The hugs from longtime customers. The stories people trust us enough to share. Those relationships are what have made Home Bound what it is today.
For years, we’ve watched wives help their husbands pick out a new polo, moms shop with their sons, girlfriends offer their opinion on a button-down, and grandmothers cheer on their grandsons as they found something special to wear.
Time after time, someone would smile and ask, “When is it our turn?”
This August, we’re proud to finally answer that question. We’re excited to introduce Home Bound Her, arriving exclusively at our Dallas location.
Home Bound Her isn’t about becoming just another boutique.
It’s our way of finally welcoming the women who have been part of the Home Bound story from the very beginning.
Our vision is simple: timeless, comfortable, beautiful pieces for women living real life.
Whether you’re heading to church on Sunday, dropping the kids off at school, cheering from the sidelines, grabbing coffee with a friend, enjoying a date night, or simply looking for something that makes you feel confident, we want Home Bound Her to be a place where getting dressed feels effortless and enjoyable.
More importantly, we want it to feel like home.
We believe shopping should be personal. It should feel welcoming. It should feel like walking into a place where someone is genuinely happy to see you, remembers your name, and cares more about serving you than making a sale.
That has always been the heart of Home Bound.
The clothing may continue to grow, but our purpose never will.
At the end of the day, we’re not just building a clothing store. We’re building a place where families can shop together, friendships can grow, and our community feels welcomed every time they walk through our doors.
Every small business is built because a community chooses to believe in it.
To every customer who has supported us over the past six years in Hiram and over the past two years at our Cedarcrest location—thank you.
Thank you for trusting us with your families, celebrating your milestones with us, recommending us to your friends, and encouraging us every step of the way.
Because of you, we’re able to begin this exciting new chapter.
This August, we can’t wait to welcome you into Home Bound Her.
We hope you’ll stop by, say hello, and experience everything we’ve been dreaming about.
After all…
Home Bound has never just been a clothing store.
It’s always been about making people feel right at home.
