This year, we are celebrating 75 years of blooming alongside the community we love. A legacy like this doesn’t happen by accident—it takes a dedicated family to carry it through the generations.
The Price Family
While the shop’s roots stretch back 75 years, its modern heart was shaped in the early 1970s. That was the pivotal moment when Ernie Sr., Barbara Price, and their family took the reins, infusing the business with a deep generational commitment to craftsmanship and community.
For over five decades, the storefront has survived shifting economic tides and a fast-evolving floral industry. From the 1970s era of macramé and terrariums to today’s grand, whimsical oceanfront weddings, the Prices have been behind the counter—elevating the artistry while keeping the original vision alive. For them, this has never been a 9-to-5; it is a life’s work.

A True Family Effort
When we say “family-owned and operated,” we mean it. Keeping a legacy flower shop blooming for 75 years takes a village, and for us, that village shares a dinner table.
At the helm is owner Russell Price, whose vision and commitment to craftsmanship steer the ship daily. Right by his side is his nephew and shop manager, DJ Newhart, who keeps operations running smoothly. Out on the roads of Virginia Beach, Ernie Price II is our unsung hero, driving one of our famous pink delivery vans to ensure arrangements arrive flawlessly. Finally, representing the next generation is Emily Price, the youngest niece, who balances college life with hitting the road when the shop needs an extra hand.
A legacy this deep is also built by the loyal friends who become family along the way. Foremost among them is Kyong “Hana” McBrien aka Honey. For 25 years, Hana has helped anchor the shop, proving that a true family is defined by devotion and a shared heart.
From quiet Tuesdays to the beautiful chaos of Valentine’s Day, every generation of the Price family pours their heart into this business.
