When life gets busy, our bodies can feel it. Stress, travel, demanding schedules, seasonal changes, poor nutrition, and simply not drinking enough water can all leave us feeling less than our best. At Renew IV Hydration & Wellness, our Immune IV is designed to provide hydration along with nutrients commonly used to support normal immune function, antioxidant defenses, and overall wellness.

What’s in an Immune IV?

Our Immune IV combines IV fluids with vitamins and antioxidants selected to complement the body’s natural defenses. Depending on the formulation prescribed for you, ingredients may include nutrients such as vitamin C, zinc, B vitamins, and other supportive nutrients. Vitamin C and zinc both play important roles in normal immune function, while B vitamins are involved in normal energy metabolism and numerous cellular processes throughout the body. IV fluids also provide direct hydration, which can be especially helpful when your fluid intake hasn’t kept up with your body’s needs. Because nutrients administered intravenously enter the bloodstream rather than passing through the digestive system first, IV therapy provides a different route of administration than oral supplements. It does not, however, mean that more is always better. Your individual health history, medications, symptoms, and needs should always be considered before treatment.

Why Do Clients Choose an Immune IV?

Clients may choose an Immune IV when they want additional wellness support during particularly demanding seasons of life. Common reasons include:

  • Supporting normal immune system function
  • Replenishing fluids and supporting hydration
  • Providing antioxidant support
  • Supplementing nutritional intake
  • Supporting normal energy metabolism
  • Adding wellness support during travel, stressful schedules, or seasonal changes

An Immune IV isn’t a treatment or cure for infections such as the cold, flu, COVID-19, or other illnesses. Instead, we view IV therapy as one tool that can be used as part of an overall wellness plan when medically appropriate.

What Should I Expect During My Infusion?

If you’ve never received an IV infusion before, the process is usually much more relaxing than people expect.

Before Your Infusion: Your safety comes first. Before treatment, we’ll review your health history and determine whether IV therapy and the ingredients in the infusion are appropriate for you. Depending on your individual circumstances and our clinical protocols, additional screening or medical clearance may be necessary. We recommend eating normally beforehand and arriving well hydrated whenever possible.

Getting Your IV Started: One of our trained medical professionals will place a small IV catheter, typically in your arm or hand. You’ll feel a brief needle stick during placement, but the needle itself does not remain in your arm—the small flexible catheter is what stays in place during your infusion.

During Your Infusion: Then comes the easy part: relax. You’ll sit comfortably while the infusion runs. Your nurse will monitor you and make sure you’re tolerating everything appropriately. Infusion time varies depending on the formula, volume, individual tolerance, and prescribed rate. Some people simply relax, scroll their phone, read, catch up on messages, or enjoy a little quiet time while their infusion is running. You may notice sensations such as feeling cool from the IV fluids or experiencing a temporary taste or sensation associated with certain nutrients. If anything feels uncomfortable or unusual, let your nurse know immediately so your infusion can be assessed and adjusted if necessary.

After Your Infusion: Once your infusion is complete, the IV catheter is removed and a small bandage is placed over the site. Most clients can return to their normal activities afterward unless their healthcare professional advises otherwise. How someone feels following an infusion varies. Some clients report feeling refreshed or more hydrated, while others may not notice an immediate difference. IV therapy isn’t expected to feel exactly the same for every person.

Wellness Isn’t One-Size-Fits-All

At Renew IV, we believe wellness should be personalized, medically responsible, and never intimidating. IV therapy isn’t about promising a quick fix. It’s about giving your body appropriate support while continuing to prioritize the basics that matter most: nutrition, hydration, movement, rest, and routine healthcare. Whether you’re heading into a busy season, traveling, or simply looking for another way to support your overall wellness, we’re happy to help determine whether our Immune IV is an appropriate option for you.

Renew IV Hydration & Wellness: Hydration. Wellness. Support from the inside out.

IV therapy is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. Individual results and experiences vary. Eligibility and formulation are determined based on appropriate medical screening and clinical protocols.
