Hi, Haslet! I’m Vanessa, owner of V’s Coffee Co., our family owned specialty coffee trailer located at The Roundup.

If you’ve ever wondered about the “V’s,” they really are our family. My husband, Victor, and I have three daughters, Valerie, Viviana and Violet, and over the years, the V’s have found their way into just about everything we’ve built together.

Our coffee journey started at home with The V’s Catfé, where we combined our love of coffee with fostering and helping kittens find homes. Eventually, coffee outgrew our house and became V’s Coffee Co., but the dream behind the Catfé never really went away.

Today, when you see us through the trailer window making your morning latte, you’re seeing only a small part of what running a coffee business looks like.

We’re a small family business, so we wear just about every hat. We make the drinks, create the menus, order inventory, clean equipment, make TikToks, handle the marketing and troubleshoot whatever decides not to cooperate that day.

We also own The V’s Crafts, our custom business, which has become part of the coffee journey too. From signs and apparel to merchandise and marketing pieces, being makers has allowed us to build much of the V’s Coffee Co. brand with our own hands.

One of the best parts has been what the business has brought into our lives. We’ve become more involved in our community, participated in local events, worked with schools and other small businesses, and watched strangers at our window become familiar faces we look forward to seeing.

Of course, there’s another side to it. There are slow days, long days, equipment problems, ideas that don’t work and plenty we’re still figuring out.

We’re building this business in real time.

And that’s what I’d love to share here: the real life behind the window, including the growth, challenges, creativity, community and people behind the coffee.

The trailer isn’t the end goal. Someday, we hope to open a coffee shop of our own and bring the original V’s Catfé dream full circle, creating a place where our community can enjoy great coffee while spending time with adoptable cats and kittens.

Until then, you’ll find us at The Roundup, building that dream one cup at a time.
