Sometimes, the best place to celebrate is the one people do not realize is there.

As the General Manager of Lucky Strike Rockville, I have the privilege of welcoming people through our doors for birthdays, celebrations, company outings, and moments that matter.

But there is one part of our center that I wish more people knew about: our private VIP event space.

It is a hidden gem in Montgomery County, and I believe it is time to let everyone in on the secret.

Since the Lucky Strike brand arrived at our Rockville center in August 2025, I have been passionate about helping people see what this room can become. Once affectionately called “Club 300,” our VIP space offers eight bowling lanes, a private bar, two private restrooms, tinted windows, and doors that close to create a celebration that feels entirely your own.

Sometimes, you want the door closed behind you. You want to look around and know that everyone in the room is there for your occasion. You want privacy, connection, and freedom to enjoy the moment with your people.

That is what this space offers.

Lucky Strike Rockville already brings people together through bowling, an arcade, food, drinks, and friendly competition across our 40-lane center. Our VIP room takes that experience a step further: a private event destination within an event destination.

Imagine a milestone birthday surrounded by your closest friends. An engagement party where two families become better acquainted. An anniversary, graduation, retirement celebration, family reunion, or holiday gathering that gives everyone room to reconnect.

For corporate teams, organizations, and high-profile guests, that privacy offers something equally valuable: a dedicated setting to celebrate accomplishments, entertain clients, recognize employees, or simply spend time together away from the everyday routine.

You can even choose your own music inside the VIP room while our standard playlist continues beyond the doors. That detail matters. Music sets the mood, brings back memories, and helps a celebration feel like yours.

And then there is the food.

People expect pizza at a bowling center. They do not always expect sushi-grade tuna, beef Wellington, or filet mignon. Our in-house catering options range from unlimited cheese pizza parties to elevated selections that might completely change how you picture a bowling event.

I love watching that realization happen: “We can do that here?”

Yes, we can.

We provide the foundation, and together, we bring your vision to life. The room can feel playful, polished, intimate, or festive. Its greatest possibility comes from what you want to celebrate and how you want your guests to feel.

For me, VIP means more than a room designation. It means remembering that your party is important because the people in it are important to you. It means that a team cares about the details, welcomes your guests warmly, and takes pride in helping you have a wonderful time.

My name is Marjorie L. Griffin, and I invite you to ask for me. Tell me what you are imagining. I want to help you create an experience that feels personal, thoughtful, and even better than you pictured.

Our hidden gem deserves to be seen. More than that, it deserves to be filled with your laughter, your loved ones, and your next unforgettable celebration.
