At Thrive Counseling Services, we believe that caring for our community extends far beyond the walls of our office. Every day, we have the privilege of supporting individuals and families on their mental health journeys, and we know that when a community comes together to help one another, everyone thrives. That is why we are excited to host our annual “Stuff the Truck” School Supply Drive on Saturday, August 1, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Thrive Counseling Services.
This special event is dedicated to supporting students in Canton City Schools by collecting much- needed school supplies for children and families who may struggle to afford the items required for a successful school year. From notebooks and pencils to backpacks and crayons, every donation makes a difference and helps ensure that local students walk into their classrooms feeling prepared, confident, and ready to learn. We invite community members, local businesses, families, and friends to stop by and help us fill our truck with supplies that will directly benefit students in need right here in Canton. Whether you donate a single pack of markers or several backpacks, your generosity will have a lasting impact on a child’s educational experience.
In addition to donating, guests are encouraged to stay for a while, enjoy light refreshments, meet members of our team, and connect with others who share a passion for giving back. We want this event to be more than just a donation drive—we want it to be a celebration of community, compassion and hope. At Thrive Counseling Services, community outreach is at the heart of who we are. We are committed to promoting wellness, supporting families, and creating opportunities to uplift those around us. We believe that small acts of kindness can create lasting change, and events like Stuff the Truck remind us of the incredible things we can accomplish when we work together. As the new school year approaches, let us join hands to help every child start the year with the tools they need to succeed.
