A Home Transformation That Brought Everything Together

After living in their Burlington Township home for more than 16 years, Adam and Meg Woehr knew it was time for a change. What had once been a brand-new house had become dated, with the original contractor-grade finishes showing their age. While the home’s open floor plan offered plenty of space, it no longer felt connected or inviting.

“We had been here for about 16 years, and everything was still original,” Adam explained. “At some point, you look around and realize it’s time to remodel.”

For Meg, the goal wasn’t simply updating finishes—it was creating a home that felt cohesive.

“It felt like every room was its own little space,” she said. “It didn’t feel like everything flowed together.”

Their search for the right remodeling partner led them to Aroma’z Home Carpet & Flooring. From their first visit to the Hamilton showroom, the experience stood out.

“Everyone took the time to explain the process in great detail,” Adam said. “We felt comfortable and informed from the beginning.”

One of the biggest advantages was being able to make every design decision in one place.

“They had such a large variety of products,” Meg said. “I didn’t want to buy cabinets from one place, flooring from another, and hardware somewhere else. Aroma’z had everything. It made the process so much easier.”

The renovation centered around creating a more functional, unified living space, beginning with a complete kitchen transformation. Today, the oversized island serves as the heart of the home.

“I absolutely love my island,” Adam shared. “I do everything there now. I can work there, talk with people in the other room, and everyone naturally gathers around it. It’s become the center of our home.”

New flooring throughout the first floor tied the entire space together, while the staircase renovation became one of the home’s most striking features.

“I’m a huge fan of the flooring,” Adam said. “Having the same flooring throughout the downstairs completely changed the feel of the home. The staircase transformation was incredible too. It’s hard to pick just one favorite feature because everything works together.”

The dramatic transformation hasn’t gone unnoticed.

“We’ve received so many compliments,” Adam said. “People walk in and immediately say, ‘Wow.’ They notice the kitchen, the flooring, the color combinations, and especially the staircase.”

While thrilled with the finished product, the Woehrs were equally impressed by the installation team. As pet owners, they appreciated the extra care shown throughout the project.

“Our dog loved the crew,” Adam laughed. “They were wonderful with our pets and always made sure doors were closed so our cat couldn’t accidentally get outside. We really appreciated that level of attention.”

Meg also valued Aroma’s fully integrated team.

“We loved that Aroma has their own plumbers, electricians, carpenters, and installers,” she said. “Everything is handled in-house, so everyone works together. It made the entire project run much more smoothly.”

Looking back, Adam and Meg say choosing Aroma’z Home Carpet & Flooring was one of the best decisions they made. The renovation didn’t just modernize their house—it completely changed how they live and entertain.

“Everything you see here was done by Aroma,” Adam said. “We absolutely recommend them to anyone who asks. The quality, the service, and the overall experience were outstanding.”

For the Woehrs, the project was about more than updating a house. It was about creating a home that feels connected, welcoming, and ready for the next chapter of their lives.
