Acupuncture uses very fine, sterile needles placed at specific points on the body to encourage the body’s natural healing response, support circulation, and promote balance within the body. Chinese Herbal Medicine works alongside Acupuncture by using individualized herbal formulas to address each patient’s unique pattern and health needs. Together, these therapies can support a wide range of concerns including fertility, pregnancy and postpartum care, women’s hormone health, pain, stress, sleep, and overall wellness. Our approach is complementary to western medicine, allowing us to work alongside your existing healthcare providers when appropriate.
CUPPING THERAPY
Looking for relief from muscle tension or wanting to enhance recovery?
Cupping is a traditional therapy where a brief flame is used to create a vacuum inside a glass cup before it is placed on the skin. The gentle suction lifts the underlying tissue, creating a pulling sensation that can help encourage circulation, relax tight muscles, and support mobility and recovery. Cupping may leave temporary circular marks on the skin, which typically fade within several days.
