As we start October, our calendar is full. This is the time of year everyone thinks of their gutters. Most need to be covered, and, of course, it’s important to clean them out. Otherwise, leaves and pine needles will almost fill your gutters everyday – especially as we face the upcoming months. I’ve found though, that in many situations, gutters don’t get cleaned out for years; this results in us removing the gutters and replacing facia boards — and we have even found rotted rafter tails.
If you need an upgrade, replacement, or an inspection of the overall condition of your gutters, call a professional Gutter company. They’ll know best. There are several in our area that do fine work. Be sure though, that they are registered with the State of Pennsylvania and have Insurance; also check references. If we can’t do the job, I have a couple of local companies you’ll be happy with. I know most everyone local in the business. Try to stay local. That’s all I got for now. Enjoy the fall weather, and take a visit to Raymondskill Falls, it’s absolutely beautiful – especially with the leaves changing.
