Summer in Minnesota is too short to spend it inside! That’s why at Shape It Up Fitness + Athleisure, we love helping our members get their workout done early so they can spend the rest of the day enjoying everything summer has to offer—whether that’s boating, golfing, lake days, family adventures, or relaxing on the patio.

Our morning Group Fitness schedule is designed to help you start your day strong with energizing workouts that build strength, improve endurance, and boost your mood before the summer fun begins. Looking for extra accountability? Join our Walk Club and connect with others while getting fresh air and movement in. We also have exciting Summer Pop-Up events at The Victoria Burrow, combining fitness, community, shopping, and fun for all ages.

Healthy Boat-Day Nutrition Tips

  • Pack the protein. Bring beef sticks, summer sausage, turkey jerky, grilled chicken chunks, or sandwiches to stay full and energized.
  • Prep fruits and veggies ahead of time. Cut them up and pack them with a healthy dip. Pro tip: pull these out first before reaching for chips and snacks.
  • Bring a pre-made salad. Pack paper bowls for easy serving. One of our favorites is a Chicken Caesar Salad made with protein noodles for an extra boost.

Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad With Protein Noodles

  • 4-5 Cups chopped romaine lettuce heart
  • 2-3 grilled chicken breasts chopped
  • Approximately 6 oz Protein Pasta
  • 1 cup Caesar dressing
  • Desired amount of fresh Parmesan cheese
  • Desired amount of cracked black pepper
  • Optional Vegetables to add, red onion, tomatoes, artichoke hearts, avocado or your favorite

Cook pasta, drain and cool. Grill or bake chicken and chop. Chop lettuce and optional vegetables. Mix together, toss in the dressing, top with fresh parmesan and black pepper if you wish.
