Now that the Fourth of July has passed, the season still invites us to reflect on enduring ideals such as life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Freedom and independence remain deeply personal values—ones that often shape the goals, priorities, and hopes we hold for ourselves and for the people we love.
Many people assume that, as a financial advisor, my work is centered on numbers, percentages, markets, and investments. But what I have learned is that, for most of my clients, their financial lives represent far more than a balance on a page. They represent possibility. They represent choice. In many ways, they represent freedom: the freedom to enjoy the retirement they have imagined, to travel and explore, to spend more time with grandchildren, or simply to feel secure in the path ahead. They can also create the independence to help put a child through college, care for an aging parent, support a meaningful cause, or move forward with the reassurance that the people they love will be cared for.
Planning with Purpose
For me, this work has always been about more than finances. It is about walking alongside people through important seasons of life, helping them feel supported, prepared, and cared for. It is a privilege to help clients build the kind of financial freedom and independence that reflects their values, priorities, and vision for the future. I value the relationships I build with clients and the trust they place in me as we create a thoughtful plan, stay grounded in that plan, and navigate life’s expected and unexpected transitions together. I am especially passionate about supporting women who find themselves, sometimes unexpectedly, needing to take the lead in managing finances for themselves and for those who depend on them.
You may be someone who has never put a financial plan in place, or someone who already has a plan but would value a thoughtful professional review. You may feel comfortable with your investments, yet still wonder whether other important areas of your financial life have been fully considered. These are the kinds of questions I help clients work through every day—so they can move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and peace of mind.
A Conversation About What Matters Most
While each of us may define it differently, many of us are ultimately striving for the same things: to care well for ourselves and the people we love, and to have the freedom to live with purpose, confidence, and joy. If you have been thinking about your financial future—or wondering whether your current plan truly supports the life you want to live—I would welcome the opportunity to talk with you. A complimentary conversation can be a simple and meaningful first step toward greater clarity, confidence, and peace of mind. If that conversation would be helpful, I invite you to reach out at linnea.taylor@benjaminfedwards.com or 630-313-2460. 5580071 – EXP: 06302027
